Lush coconut flavor topped with more toasty coconut shreds!
Why is it called French Coconut? Apparently back in the day when this recipe was first sprung on the world, these new-fangled nuts came from French Guyana! We thought maybe the French eschewed meringue as this pie is bare, but you won't miss it.
Whole 9" pie.
Freezes well. Wrap the pie and plate in wax paper, then in foil. Thaw on the counter top.
